Coordinated Children’s
Service Initiative
CCSI (Coordinated
Children’s Service Initiative) is an innovative approach to working
with families who need the
help of a variety of service systems.
It began as a state wide
multi-system initiative designed to enable counties to provide services
more effectively to families who had children with severe emotional,
mental, or behavioral disorders.
CCSI brings families and the principal
service providers in the community together to create a coordinated service
plan, using multiple systems.
By coordinating services,
families are supported in staying together and children are maintained in
their communities. |
