Social Worker-Youth Emergency Services

Full Time Social Worker for Assessment Team for children and youth. Team provides in-home clinical assessments for children, youth and families in Onondaga County.

Master’s degree in social work required with a minimum of 2 years experience in child & youth assessment. Spanish language skills a plus.

Clinical Team Leader/Mental Health

OCMS is seeking an exp. MH professional to provide leadership & supervision to the OCMS Assertive Community Treatment team (ACT). ACT is an evidenced based service model designed to deliver psychiatric/ Mental Health & care coordination services primarily in the community. ACT serves adults who have not benefited from traditional treatment Services ACT is often referred to as a ‘clinic on wheels.’

Duties include: Directing, supervising, & evaluating staff performance, overseeing daily operations of the team, maintaining/enhancing adherence to ACT regulations & the ACT service model, assessing for client satisfaction during occasional 1:1 meetings, ensuring the sound fiscal operation of the team consistent with good clinical practice; & representing the team in the community & among other services.

Minimum qualifications: 3 yrs. Supervision experience in human service or medical settings & a Masters or higher in Social Work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field, OR licensure/registration as a RN. (RNs are encouraged to be masters level or nurse practitioner), or physician.

Preference will be given to those applicants that demonstrate experience with the complexities of supervising interdependent multi-disciplined work teams. Experience in Community based services & understanding of Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment models is a plus. Willingness to support flexible, person-centered, motivational, & harm reduction approaches is a must.
